Japanese Silver Grass, or Miscanthus sinensis, is the last of the ornamental grasses we will be highlighting in our deer resistant plants discussion. This grass is a great choice for textural contrast in perennial or shrub beds. The dark green blades are highlighted with white stripes and topped with silvery white plumes. It thrives in partial to full sun and needs regular watering. It can grow up to 6 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide.
Plant: Japanese Silver Grass (Miscanthus sinensis)

Perfect near water gardens and fountains to give the illusion of reeds.
Works well in pots for patios, porches, or terraces.
